I'm a novice excel user at my profession. I've only listen to the podcast with Shawn and watched your tutorial, that program is mind blowing. Much appreciated and thanks for showing me that excel is that level of a program. Thank you! Time to go to work.

@JJCY79 @dcaban I totally agree. This tool is a thing of beauty. I have to say the same about Stat Explorer as well.
I have a question about Draft tool.. Let's assume I am picking from #7, and I know that the team ahead of me #6, usually goes RB heavy, is there a way to assign that particular team to be RB heavy?

Will the rankings be modified as camps and the preseason unfold?

@JJCY79 Thanks, my friend. I appreciate it!

@turndownforwatt Yeah. On the settings tab, the final section is CPU-Mock settings. You can manually up the RB percentage to 65 or 75 percent. That will let the AI know that Team 6 will be going RB heavy.

@TobyDavid Yup. They will. Just make sure to use the refresh data buttons when opening the files.

@JollyG804 It appears I edited out the Tate pick on accident. It came after Coleman.

I stumbled across this tool last season somehow on your website, before it was on RotoViz, and used it for all my drafts. Looks like you've made some major enhancements to it and am excited to use it this year. I haven't messed around with the tool that much this season yet but it doesn't look like it supports Auction drafting. Is that correct?

ahhhh ok, thanks! i guess u were getting excellent value for him than, in the 6th was it 1 hopkins 2 mccaffrey 3 gronk 4 jones 5 coleman 6 tate 7 dion i believe.... who would you guys have taken if gronk was gone between diggs and kelce and mckinnon
#11 By: DaveCabanFF, August 1st, 2018 17:24
Correct. I've been wanting to do something for auctions but haven't done so yet.

Yeah, I believe that was the order. With the ADP coming from .5 PPR it was a little different than expected. If Gronk was gone, I think we would have gone McKinnon to bulk up on RB and play the somewhat dangerous waiting game of hoping Diggs would fall.

Is there a way to add 3rd round reversal for the spreadsheet in the future? My leagues are all 3RR.
#14 By: DaveCabanFF, August 10th, 2018 12:15
Hi, @epistemology You are able to do so in this year's release by using the Trades and Keepers tab. As the ability to trade picks is built in, you can essentially assign every pick to a particular team. It will take a little bit of work on your end, but is certainly achievable.
#15 By: epistemology, August 10th, 2018 13:48
Thanks for the info, I tried this just now and it keeps stopping after the 7th pick and replacing all the team names with N/A on the Upcoming Picks Queue. I essentially reversed all the teams first two picks and hit the set trades and keepers button like in your instructions. any thoughts? Thanks
#16 By: DaveCabanFF, August 10th, 2018 13:56
One thought would be that the team nicknames don't match those in the CPU mock settings section. But I'd have to see the file to be sure. More likely, it has something to do with how you set up the trades. Send the file to email@example.com and I'll take a look.

@epistemology not sure if it copied you on the above...

Nevermind Dave, I used the original base file and started from scratch and it worked this time around. Thanks for your help!

Love the Draft Tool Dave! Just used it during a live draft for a redraft + 1 keeper league and it worked wonders, especially for identifying positional scarcity and, maybe more importantly, for keeping my heart rate down while on the clock.
Only wrinkle I noticed was that when I made a trade during the draft I had to reset the whole draft and re-enter all the picks to accurately reflect it. Is there a workaround for this? If not, do you have any plans/would it be possible to support the following scenarios for next season?
- Owners make an in-draft trade of unselected picks, reset/trades keepers for remainder of draft without having to re-enter already-selected players
- Owners make an in-draft trade involving already-selected players and/or keepers, refresh affected rosters but preserve the rest of the already-selected players and future picks
- Any trade that's some combination of the first two
Either way, badass draft prep and in-draft tool, thanks again for all your work!

@jmhanson Thanks! I really appreciate it.
I'll keep those in mind for next season. I'm sure this can be achieved but I'm going to try and prioritize the features that will have the most substantial impact for the most users. So we'll see where this falls out after draft season. Thanks again.
