Is velocity determined on a specific type of pass, A variety of passes, or are they asked to fire it as hard as possible.

Good question Daniel, and I wish I had the answer to that. I assume that they take the highest velocity of any throw the QBs make at the combine or their pro day, but I may be completely off base with that.
