I've been doing a few draftmaster auctions and I'm curious to know what people think the best roster construction would be given the format. I did a few last year and injuries killed me so I'm really focused on depth. The format requires starting 2QB, 2RB, 3WR, 2TE, 2Flex, 2PK, 2DST and there are 32 roster spots to work with. 10 Team auction. I decided to go with
I went pretty cheap/zero RB and loaded up on depth/quality at all other positions. Any Thoughts? Would you change roster construction at all? Where would you spend money? I know its hard to know for sure without seeing prices on players, but any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

This sounds intriguing @Prickler may I see the full squad?

I think this is bestball, right?
This seems like a very good construction to me. The only other thing I think I would consider is potentially dropping down to 3 DST if there is a solid RB target for a 7th RB. If a Matt Breida or James White is sitting around still, I think I would probably do it, just because RB is fragile and if you are able to have another shot at a guy who gets 175 pts, it could be worth leaving those D/ST points on the table when you have no injury risk at that position.
Closer to the beginning of the season, I might possibly do the same at PK, but those guys do get hurt as well sometimes, and also can get cut or replaced, especially this far away from September.

Heres the full squad. Past Rotoviz articles point to drafting 3 DST in regular bestball leagues so I felt like I had to get 4 DST when you have to start 2, but it's the only position where injuries aren't a problem so I could envision and extra flex spot instead.

Thanks. Going to start another league tomorrow with the same format. Trying to figure out which tweaks to make. I like my team paying up at TE. I think it offsets my deficiency at RB. $200 goes fast when your paying $4-$8 for a DST and $4-$6 on a PK. My biggest mistake last year was not having depth. I ended up with 1/3 of my roster contributing almost nothing due to injury or under-performance. It makes me hesitant to pay up for studs.
