This question when unanswered last year - but I would still like to know...
How often are the redraft rankings updated? Is there a possibility of adding a date that they were last updated?
Thank you in advance.

Further - just to point out a couple things the stuck out to me:
1 - Adrian Peterson ranked at #83 seems a bit out of whack being ranked after Charles Sims and Terrance West.
2 - Eric Decker is still on the list ranked at #84.
I am sure these are products of just not being updated yet.
I love you guys and think your analysis is among the best in the business. Dialing these in with a date would be great and make me feel more comfortable using them going into my main draft weekend.
Again - thanks in advance and keep up the great work.
P.S. just read Dave Cabin's @ great RVUR article. I like really like the approach. Seems to me,however, that to make it even better, all the Rotobiz excellent brainpower and talented prognosticators (looking at you @FF_Contrarian ) should be included to bring the most value. I certainly credit Dave with listing his projections on the site. Thank you for your hard work.

Those are excellent points, @MrZeroRB, and thanks for the kind words as well. (The out-of-whack results are due to the results being from multiple rankers, and that impacting some of the low-end guys disproportionately.)
Dave has been doing absolutely fantastic work. I really love the Ultimate Rankings.
(I've tried to include my targets in the Zero RB and Breakout WR articles, but we also have some big plans for developing some of the projection-based elements in 2019. As you know, I'm not big on projections in many ways, but they obviously have their value.)

Thanks Shawn - I often times feel the same way about projections as well....
Best of luck in your drafts and thanks again.

Hi Shawn- for 2019 projections. Agree they can be iffy at best however for the community here that doesn’t follow the action the way you guys do it’s a great template. The specific suggestion is having the option to see the distributions of projected points on a graph. While a linear ranking is helpful you miss the ability to really see the tiers emerge as a graph would illustrate. Attached is a pic using last years RV projections for RB and WR in 20 point intervals. Bonus question- have you updated tiers since the last preseason games? Thanks!

Hey @FF_Fiend and @MrZeroRB i updated my ranks since the last PS games! I will be updating them once again, once we find out who made the roster/who was cut etc.
Couple of notes on AP: @hba24 and I discussed the AP situation on the pod, and I'd personally be targeting either Rob Kelley/Samaje Perine as the RB in drafts/on waivers. They're typically much cheaper (in one recent draft I did, I got Nick Chubb as RB43, AP went as RB42) and at this point in his career I doubt you're getting much from AP anyway. He's probably a roster clogger and one who doesn't hold any trade value.
As always, if you have questions about my tiers, let me know. I've fine tuned these through actual drafts where I've got $ on the line (whether they're best ball or structured H2H) and have come away fairly happy with the squads I've built.

@FF_Fiend Ranks should be updated. Chubb is on the 4/5 border for me. I've been getting him everywhere. Blair has another good article coming out about how to use rookie RBs to win leagues, and he has both Jones and Chubb as targets.
Those are good ideas on the rankings and fit with much of what we have planned.
Also, it sounds like you're using the projections to create tiers - I think the tiers and the Sim Scores and the Dave's Ultimate Tool are perfect for what you're attempting with your Cheat Sheet. I love the way the Sims help break players into natural tiers, and then Dave's also layered a lot of cool stuff on top.

@FF_Contrarian I’ve seen previous posts where you’ve targeted Freeman, Tevin, Kerryon so I was surprised to see Cohen tier 3 ahead of a few of your targets. Is he moving up?
#9 By: Ryan Blakeslee, August 28th, 2018 17:35
In your RB tiers you’re pretty high on Penny and Ronald Jones. Are you targeting one over the other or taking the cheaper option?
#10 By: hrr5010, August 28th, 2018 19:17
I had them that high since they’d be top my queue during the draft when I hit that section of the draft. I gotta tweak and will do so once I get a little bit more time to be more thoughtful about my updates vs. panic changing.
I will say that I have taken the cheaper of the two. It wasn't too long ago where Penny was still hovering in that RB20-24 range, but I managed to snag him in a league as the RB32. I figured I'd take him ahead of RoJo since I expect that the hate on him has gone fairly far, and RoJo would make it back to me. Unfortunately, RoJo was taken as RB34, right after Lynch.
I have some concerns surrounding Penny, specifically the Seattle offense. Doug's battling a knee thing and if he's forced to miss time, i dunno how effective this offense will be.

I hear you on Seattle that could get ugly. Defense and oline were already concerns then throw in Carson. Barber is a big guy with some agility. So maybe he’s more than JAG. This reminds me of Packers where everyone seems to believe (including me) that Aaron Jones is the better talent and of course he’s going to be the guy...at some point. I’m still highly interested in both RoJo and AaJo but we may have to wait a bit.
#12 By: hrr5010, August 29th, 2018 08:57
yeah same. but their cost is fairly cheapish right now and don't mind grabbing RoJo. He's cheaper than Barber

@hrr5010 i used combos of yours and @FF_Contrarians advice and wound up with this team from a 0.5 ppr 2 flex auction yesterday. Hasan you said youd try to get two superstud WRs and Shawn you said you might tackle as many of the 1.7- 2.10 area of the draft so here's how i wound up with that in mind. my league mates said my RBs, qb, and TEs suck and i have to trade. curious if u agree or would want to target anything in particuar.
a. smith 2
d. adams 46
r. penny 10
r. jones 7 (still a bit pricer than barber in my recent experience ) maybe round 9~ vs ~13
Kerryon Johnson 3 (surprised he was so low, maybe jst product of our draft. worried he got hurt as i was drafting lol)
TE: OJ howard 2
b: cobb 4
b: ekeler 1
mike williams 1
dj moore 1

This is the good stuff. The value on Adams there feels a little like stealing... and the thing is - if all your RBs don't hit, you have so much WR value that you can actually take a haircut.
Out of curiosity - what did Barber go for in this draft? His ADP has spiked recently.
Do you mind posting some of the rosters from your league mates? I'm curious to see how they stack up/price paid relative to what you got your players for.
WRs may have a bit of a hindered ceiling in 0.5 PPR, but OBJ+Adams+Julio drains the pool of WRs capable of posting week winning scores on a regular basis and offsets the weakness at RB. Like... Penny and Jones will get some work. Or Gio/Ekeler will mix in. Not many RBs play 80%+ of the snaps.
#15 By: Dennis, August 29th, 2018 11:59
thanks thats great to hear. ummm lets see, barber went for 1 and 2 over my drafts (very similar formats, 0.5ppr, start 2 rb 2 wr 1 te 2 flx)
I thought about nominating Barber because i had jones to lock up that Tb rbs but preferred to snag ekeler for the upside of an unfortunate gordon injury. heres how a couple others looked:

Odd Barber went for $1, since his ADP on all best ball sites has hit the inflection point with RoJo. I.E- RoJo is now the cheaper of the two players. Thing with RoJo - you don't need him to be a 3 down workhorse to pay off what you put in for him. You just need him to be productive when his number is called. I wrote a little bit about RoJo here but this is starting to be reminiscient of when Adrian Peterson was the starter and Kamara was a non factor.
Will RoJo be Kamara 2.0? No. But is it likely that TBB get absolutely wrecked and fall out of playoff contention quickly, and the coaching staff should turn the reins over to RoJo to figure out what they spent an early 2nd rounder on? Probably. That's the kind of upside I like to gamble on, and hopefully it hits.

Here is one from my buddy who usually goes WR heavy but said he liked the RB value and wanted to diversify from a seperate league

1) SaQuads - Tate/Goodwin/Fuller are strong WR options, but I'd much rather have your WR corps. Carson might not hold this job for too long, so it behooves him to actually try and move for Penny. I think Penny takes over soon as well. Kupp is actually a worse option in 0.5 ppr than most assume, unless he smashes in the TD column.
2) Ezekiel Virus - this dude's got a good squad, but i'm not a fan of Hyde/Henry as his flex spots. He'd be better served playing either Robby or Agholor and Henry.
3) Crazy P's AssKickers - this is the kind of roster construction i kinda hate. like.. he needs all 4 RBs to stay healthy for the entire season and keep delivering. Maybe see if you can move Cobb to him for Drake, but it feels too light. His WR corps will go as Ross goes, which is uhhh... not how i'd want to live. Also - who scores more FF points this year: Parker or Dez?
4) DezIt2Late2SayAmari - A ZRB squad. I like it. I'm not a fan of Duke J this season, but it's a solid squad. Can't tell if I prefer his WR corps to yours, but it's clear both of you have KILLER squads. I'd give your roster the edge if only because you've got RBs who could eventually emerge as workhorses, and OJH is a superior TE option to ASJ.
5) Peezy Duz It - I like KA, and i'm warming up to LF, but not a fan of Shep, Zeke, Riddick, TyMo.
6) iOwnThisLeague - I like it his WRs and Kamara. I can't see where you'd ever want to play a TE in the flex in 0.5 PPR unless you guys have a ridiculous TE prem?
All in all - it looks like a super fun league, competitive, but you got the kind of roster i'd have constructed.
#19 By: hrr5010, August 29th, 2018 12:26
That's a good squad as well. Outside of KJ as the second flex option, it's solid.

this is great info thanks so much for the insight and how u view roster construction. these forums r great. not just saying that cuz u liked my teams haha. its just as valuable as if u said my teams shit.
