Got offer Mahomes for Boyd straight up. Thoughts? I’m pretty much out of FAAB. 12 team league, full PPR. Started zero RB and have been going to work on this roster.
I’m 4-0 to start season
QB: Brees, Winston
WR: A. Brown, T. Hill, G. Tate, T. Boyd, T. Lockett, T. Taylor
RB: D. Johnson, L. Bell, N. Chubb, R. Jones, W. Smallwood
TE: V. McDonald, H. Hurst, H. Henry (IR)
Full PPR, QB/2WR/2RB/TE/2FLX

I wouldn’t. Start 4 WRs and Boyd has seen as many targets as Landry in weeks 2-4. You have Brees so not a massive drop off in QB Expected points. Not enough to give up a top 20ish WR in Boyd

What if I could get Lindsay from him by tossing in Brees and Ronald Jones? Denver’s playoff schedule is delicious. Prob still not enough? Brees makes me nervous with Ingram coming back and that stupid crap they are pulling at the goal line taking him out of the game. But I do have Winston...

I'm just marveling how someone who went zeroRB got David Johnson and Le'Veon Bell, in addition to Brown and Hill AND Tate. What have you been doing?

White for Crabtree
Chubb & Mack for Doyle & Cooper
David Johnson and D. Parker for ARob & C. Thompson
L. Bell for Lindsay & White
My Draft (not the greatest) – figured I could FAAB my way to another RB

This is very interesting for me.. while it seems like Boyd is too high a price for Mahomes, I am leaning towards taking it. I assume that with your team, you are 4-0, Mahomes adds an upside on a championship caliber team. You can afford a loss of Boyd, and bid for someone like Coutee to refill that gab. Or trade Brees to a coutee owner once you get Mahomes. Mahomes adds a ceiling that can make a difference for you on weekly basis.
I usually (almost never) trade for a QB, but I was 3-0 and I lost last week because of Brees' 8 points (he was stacked with MT). If you have a strong team, I think going for very high ceiling makes sense to me.
On the flip side, you have Brees and Winston, so, unless its a really bad week, you should be ok and may be you need to keep the depth to get through the bye weeks. this is a tough one.

Yeah, wondering if I can do:
Brees, Boyd, and either Chubb or R. Jones for Mahomes and Lindsay. Lindsay I could flex for Boyd spot and he has a great playoff schedule.
Would you do this?

So, he offered me:
Mahomes + Lindsay
Tate + Lockett + Taywan Taylor
He does have T.Y. Hilton (injured) and James White but I like Lindsay’s playoff schedule.
Am I potentially ruining a good thing if I take this trade? Boyd or Tate in the above scenario? Tyreek Hill?

I ended up trading Brees and Boyd for Mahomes and Funchess. Funchess has a great stretch thru the playoffs (so does Boyd)

My favorite version woulda been getting mahomes and lindsay for tate locket taylor. i dont think ull miss locket or taylor at all so thats a very nice win for u in terms of keeping ur stud WRs, volume hog Wrs's and top RBs . def prefer boyd to funchess as it seems olsen and dj moore will be unleashed soon. sorry im late to game here.
