Is it time to give up hope that Landry is going to be a WR1 this season? I watch them a lot, and at the beginning of the season I was thinking it probably was going to take some time to get into a groove with Mayfield. I know we haven't had tons of time with them together, but early returns have been less than exciting. After the game yesterday, they seemed to spread it out more than usual, and with Duke getting involved, I wonder if there's now too much competition for a steady string of 10+ targets to finish the season. I don't think he sees WR1 output without double digit targets (been getting it already and still isn't there so no reason to me to think he gets there with less targets).
I'm thinking about trying to package him and Kerryon to upgrade at WR. Not tons of options considering who has who and who is still in the playoff race, but Mike Evans seems to be the one standing out to me. It might be an overpay, and I love love Kerryon, but I also don't want to lose this league because Landry can't put up the points I need.

I’m trying to package him for an upgrade at WR (Hilton, K Allen, JuJu, etc). No luck yet.
@FF_Contrarian I’m sure I’m not alone here in starting both Chubb and Landry most every week in a few leagues. This is actually the primary reason I’ve been trying to trade Landry (I don’t really want two Browns on my team in the playoffs). Is this reasonable or just keep holding since the volume is there for both?

@FantasyNerd @PrestonYarnell I'm another with a Browns double act in my league. I've been rolling out Chubb & Njoku wkly with mixed results. I'm 5-4 now and have asked the Landry owner about a trade a couple of times. He has rejected a Chris Thompson + Keelan Cole offer back when Cole was relevant.
Wonder if @FF_Contrarian sees any value in trying to swap Chubb for Landry. I could throw in a 'lesser' WR to get it done. My fear is giving up too much and still having the same level of Browns exposure (arguably more as I'd then have 2 pass catchers).

Hey guys, do you preffer Landry or Diggs for the playoffs?

The only way anyone can prefer Landry is if you are expecting Diggs to miss time. I have not seen much of CLE this year, but Landry is putting up horrible numbers for the number of targets he is getting.

Yeah I think I'd echo that. I've watched them a lot, and I can't quite put my finger on it, but anecdotally it feels like Landry doesn't get high quality targets. As in, they aren't going to him in non-obvious passing situations or off play-action, or in any way that seems to make for a better opportunity. I feel like he is getting jammed targets in obvious spots, and I think that's partly to blame for his woeful efficiency. I could be totally wrong as I haven't looked in to that too deep.

I was offered Landry in exchange for MVS and Ingram. PPR.
Isn't that worth the risk?

If you need RB help I might do that deal.

ROS do you prefer Landry or Demaryius? I'm in a unique league where players get dropped around this time of year as teams fall out of it, and I could acquire Demaryius for rest of season, but I'd absolutely have to drop Landry. I just don't have other options with the league setup. Is that something you would consider? I'm very much on the fence about it. Trade deadline has passed. It is possible a few other guys could be on waivers next week, but really only Amari in that range that I'd expect.
We give 1.25PPR for WRs, bonuses at 50/75/100/150/200 yards.

I had someone reach out offering Dion Lewis for Brieda in .5 ppr. As Jarvis has been extremely frustrating to own, I too was thinking about adding him in on my end and seeing if I can get him to include Ty Hilton
My team is currently
WR: D. Adams
BE: Breida, Ekeler, Riddick, Watkins, Robby A, Duke Jr., RoJo
What do you guys think? Buy Low Machine has Clevand with a brutal WR schedule ROS. While Indy's isn't massively better, I have more faith in the talent there to win out.

Jarvis Landry with no floor is no fun at all. I got frustrated and was able to do a trade deadline deal, where I traded him for Dion Lewis (0.5ppr).
I figured with time getting short, and me fighting for a playoff spot, I could find production that matched what I expected from him with more upside.

With Jarvis doing so little with his opportunity, I think it’s more likely the opportunity goes down before his numbers start to go up.
