Hey everybody. Any thoughts on Larry's value in Dynasty? I thought I got great value for him last year but I'm concerned he's slowing down / retiring, although, there aren't any receivers in Arizona who look to be usurping his position. I was offered a a 2017 3rd round pick straight up but thought that might be a little too low.

3rd rounders, to me, have little to no value. Once players reach a certain point in their career they will fetch you no value on the trade market, but can be a decent piece on your bench. At any rate, Larry will likely retire on your team.

A 3rd is way too low for Larry. Even without any value past this year he still has the ability to be a top 20 receiver and help a fantasy team win in 2017. Even if you're in rebuilding mode and it makes no sense to keep him on your team you should be able to extract more value than that for him. I think a late 2017 1st (like 1.11, or 1.12) or a 2017 2nd plus like a 2018 3rd might be closer to fair value for him, and the trade calculator seems to agree.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, but wanted to make sure I wasn't incorrect. I've been striking out on trades for him, so I guess he is stuck on my roster. (I mean, I am happy to have him as my WR3, but was trying to get another pick in our rookie draft because I'm short on RBs).

A late first is way too much for Fitz, imo, ESPECIALLY this time of year. Pick values are artificially inflated right now, so I doubt you'd get anything more than a late 2nd for him imo.
I think he's probably worth more than that, but good luck selling him right now for decent picks. If you're serious about trading him and rebuilding, I'd wait until after the draft a bit and try and see what you can get for 2018 picks.

You'll never be able to move him for picks, since picks are always overvalued. The only way to trade him is to a contending team for an undervalued player, especially at a different position that the team may be deep in. Maybe you could trade him for say Jerick McKinnon or Jonathan Stewart or Jeremy Hill, while everyone is high on the rookies.
