Not sure if Giana is doing the QB streaming articles this year so wanted to at least get a thread going.
Came away from an auction with Alex Smith for $2 who I think has a shot at some backend QB1 weeks but there are a few guys out on waivers who are interesting and may be better plays early on. Obviously match ups are hard to peg early on without a ton of data outside of handful of defenses we know will be studly, but wanted to get some thoughts on this batch of QBs
Alex Smith: @ Ariz, v Indy, v GB, BYE
Guys available on waivers:
TyGod: v. Pittsburgh, @ NO, vs. NYJ, @ OAK
Dalton: @ Indy, vs. Balt, @ Car, @ Atl
Dak: @ Car, v NYG, @ Sea, v. Det
Bortles: @ NYG, v. NE, v. Tenn, v. NYJ
Bradford: v. Wash, @ LAR, v. Chi, v. Sea
Keenun: v. Sea, v. Oak, @ Bal, v. KC
I'm not opposed to streaming on a weekly basis, and would need to drop Smith for one of these guys as I'm not ready to part with any of my back end bench WR/RB lottery tickets just yet.

i'm going with Dalton this week.

Agree with @jmeek2244, I would certainly look to take a chance on Dalton this wk. I only have Rodgers rostered and he's my favourite streamer option for sure.

To both of your points, it looks like based on the GLSP article, Dalton is expected to outproduce his projection and would make a good streamer.
But, it also sounds like Keenum should have higher floor/higher ceiling.
With Tyrod, Dak, and Bortles not mentioned I wonder how they stack up vs. each other (and vs. Alex Smith) and is it worth dropping Smith to roll with any of those guys (or Keenum/Dalton) this week.
@ndutton13 @Ndutton thoughts?

Bringing this one back to the top for QB streamer this week. I have Big Ben on bye and I'm deciding between middling Baker against a terrible TB defense that might get him into a groove or Mitch on a hot streak against New England who I fear can easily figure him out.
GLSP favors Mitch big time, but I am leaning Baker against TB.

@thickfreakness having a similar dilemma myself with Rodgers on bye. Picked up Flacco on waivers this morning (Baker is rostered) as the best of a motley crew. Dalton has just been dropped (by the guy I beat last wk ) and very tempted to grab him instead so I can stack him with Tyler Boyd. I have a tough matchup this wk vs the guy in 2nd place.
When you say GLSP, do you mean on the Stat Explorer? I'm not sure if this wk's is live just yet. Maybe @dcaban has a view on this. I would take Baker personally as agree that NE and Belichick should be able to figure him out more than they could Mahomes.

Based on the GLSP sims in the QB article that was just posted. I assume the data came from the stat explorer.

I will roll with Mitch on this one. Underrated thing about Trubisky is also his rushing. He has rushed for 5 attempts and 35 yds on average. I would trust the weapons, coaching and hot streak against a high scoring offense and go with Biscuit.

Hadn't seen that one yet. Still prefer Baker as it's a plus matchup and per the above chart from the Streaming app it's an easier game. Hoping he does well as I'm rolling out Njoku on a weekly basis at the moment.
Trubisky and Baker are both owned in my 12 team PPR. People love to roster 2 QBs for some reason. I'm only holding a 2nd one this week as want to hang on to Rodgers while on bye. Was considering dropping him given GB tough post-bye schedule. But figure ARodg is good enough to be kept, as otherwise one of my league mates will probably grab him if I drop him this wk.

The Konami appeal is nice and so are the last two games. Ugh. I just trust Belichick to figure out his weaknesses and attack them hard.
With Baker, I'd be hoping for some major positive regression from his receiving corps, but it is against the worst pass D in the league.
I might end up switching to Mitch based on prior performance, but its a really tough one.

I switched to Trubisky. The rushing is what convinced me. I'm chasing the possibilities with Baker and Trubisky has a great scheme and coach,.
