Hey guys, Man i feel stuck right now, I had first pick in a 10 team 1qb 2rb 3wr 1te 1flex leauge. We drafted before I found rotoviz and before i learned about zero RB and man , now im feeling it. i have some issues right now and im seeking advice. here is my team
QB-Andrew Luck + Philp Rivers(because of lucks injury)
RB-David Johnson, Jay Ajay, Isaiah Crowell, Terrence west,Charles Sims
WR-Allen Robinson(RIP), Michael Crabtree,Garcon,Willie Snead, Moncrief.
TE- Gronk, kyle Rudolph
Ontop of all this since i got first pick, im last on wavier wire
I am definitely dropping A-rob and going for hurns or lee
Should i drop David Johnson and go for Cohen or williams?
Also patiently waiting for Luck is taking up a roster spot ...
Who else should i drop or pickup ? any lineup suggestions would be great! Thanks guys!

I'd hold off on dropping Johnson quite yet. If he's going to return for the back half of this year, he'll be incredible.
I would go Cohen or Buck Allen, but dropping Rudolph. He's fine, but Gronk and anyone who shows up on waivers down the line should be more than good enough, in my mind.

Agreed.. DO NOT DROP DJ until/unless you hear he is out for season. I think you're fine at RB, I'd personally only drop ARob and go for WR. Keep Rudolph, assuming you can start TE in your flex if needed

To expand... even though you didn't go Zero RB in your draft, you can carry forward your team management to emphasize an antifragile approach. If you want to go that direction, it's still early in the season... you can spend most of your resources (roster spots, waiver priority, trade chips) on bolstering your WRs, and you can even consider trading some of your RB capital to reconstruct your roster.

That sounds like a good idea.. Any advice on who to trade and who to trade for?

Also just got offered a trade I would give up Jay Ajayi and donte moncrief for D Hopkins and telvin Coleman. What do you guys think? He also has Mike Evans and A Jeffrey on his team.

I would probably take that trade, as I am not that high on Ajayi and Hopkins should get 150-160 targets. I would also drop Luck. It's a 10 team league and you have Rivers and can always stream QB's if you have to.

Yeah thinking about accepting that trade.. What do others think accept, decline, Or counter offer? (bump)

I'd take it. I'd almost always trade a WR1 for an RB1 (plus I like Coleman a LOT better than Moncrief).

Unsure if PPR or not, but if it is, I'm making this trade with the quickness. You'll be holding the bag with Moncrief until Luck returns, and to form (if he does). I'm starting Coleman in every league through 2 weeks, and no reason you shouldn't be able to do the same, running D-Hop, Crab, Garcon, and another wideout. Given a 10-team league, there may be some attractive waiver WRs out there, in which case I'd also suggest dropping Rudolph for a Thielen/Golladay type.

Agree with the others, I'd take that trade

Alright guys update here. This is what my team will look like as of 2pm est Thursday. I accepted that trade and if it goes through my team will look like this. Obviously took your alls advice and got some waiver pick ups.
Qb - Still got luck, trying to trade him for a decent wr.(maybe pair him with one of my RBs.) and Phil rivers.
RBs - Crowell, David Johnson, T. West, Sims and Cohen Coleman
WRs- D Hopkins, Willie snead, Micheal Crabtree, Garon, golladay
What you guys think and any other suggestions or discussions?

Looks good... but where is Coleman?
#14 By: Trevor.Moran, September 13th, 2017 11:26
Sorry forgot him since the trade doesn't process till tomorrow at 2. I updated it lol

I think you're in decent shape after that trade... though it is a 10-team league so if one more injury to Gronk, Crowell, or Hopkins happens you're kind of hurting. Keep grinding.

We used your question in the RV Mailbag and had some staff chime in on DJ.
Hope that helps and keep the questions coming! We'll do our best to help in the mailbag article.
