thanks for insight... I'm tryin my best to learn to make these desicions by my self.when I read that I know to not give up what's current for future.
What advice do you have for deciding what zero rb to start week to week. Some times I feel my players have similar projections. Like Ekeler vs Johnson.Im trying to learn the process and best info for this.

I agree with you. One thing the forums have been great at is it’s a terrific learning spot for all of us.
So here’s why I wouldn’t do it:
You’re dropping one of two players who has a defined role, for a third player who’s in a similar situation. Issue is - the browns are very committed to Chubb who’s still in the process of forcing his way into a RBBC, whereas Kerryon/RoJo are in the process of taking over.
Ekeler has a well defined role and the chargers’ rbs have bled any value that their WRs have.

Okay..thanks for clearing up the process. What about week to week start sit? How do I best decide who to start between two zero rbs such as keryon vs Ekeler this week? Do I focus on volume or match up?

I play around with the GLSP apps. They're both fairly equivalent this week, but I might roll out Ekeler over Kerryon. I'm in a similar situation in one league. Depends on Blount tbh

Kerryon looks to have a good matchup, and if Blount is out...I'm smashing into every lineup I've got lol.

Great points in Chubb. Your logic is very sound.
That said, it is really hard to move him after he looked likes the second coming if Emmitt Smith or Adrian Peterson. Those tackle breaking runs were impressive.
Rojo has the job, but I really wonder if he has the talent it the support in TB to flourish there. I guess we will see.

@IITrollface I still expect RoJo to have a breakout game in the near future, but in the situation you're outlining, you can probably hold Chubb through the next week and see if that touch load starts to split. Then you can re-add RoJo after the bye.
@turndownforwatt There may have been some confusion since both of you asked about Ekeler, but it looks like that was cleared up. Good advice from @hrr5010 on the various situations.

@hrr5010 On the note of Ekeler, would you take an offer of him and OJ Howard for Cole and Gio?
@turndownforwatt said Howard for Gio might not be worth it (as Howard is equivalent to Njoku and injured). Wondering if the addition of Ekeler makes it worth doing? Active role, etc while Gio will likely play a lot less with Mixon coming back.

Are you getting Ekeler and Howard or sending? I would want to be on the Ekeler side of that trade even though I don't trust Howard with Jameis (plus the injury). Ekeler is an injury away from a huge role and he's already nearly startable every week.

This is a bit of AFC and NFC, who would you rather have with one of your last roster spots, Rojo or Buck Allen? Currently have Buck Allen, but Rojo is a FA. I think Buck Allen is valuable but he carries no trade value in my league.

@thickfreakness Thanks. I'd be getting Ekeler and OJ. The guy I'm trading with is the Mixon owner. Hence his high regard for Gio with Mixon coming off knee surgery.

drop jamaal williams for ronald jones? i've got ekeler and kamara plugged in for this week.

@Will since you're getting Ekeler + OJH, it's something I'd do. Gio is not practicing again today, and I think it's a bad sign for his long term prospects. OJH is a guy you're gonna have to be patient with given his MCL sprain and he may not be right for the ROS. I don't hate giving up Keelan Cole + Gio though. Keelan is good, but the JAX WR corps is a volatile group.
@thickfreakness i'd rather roster RoJo over Buck Allen, but Collins might miss time. I mean, I wrote this piece on Buck so I'm biased: http://rotoviz.com/2018/08/javorius-allen-potential-zero-rb-trap-candidate/
@joenamathscoat i'd do that for sure. outside of injuries to Aaron Jones + TyMo, Jamaal doesn't have the same workload or upside. RoJo could wind up being trash, but he could get the majority of the work. Neither Barber not Quizz are much of a threat.
#35 By: hrr5010, October 5th, 2018 11:13
Yeah. It's something I'm worried about with RoJo for sure. But with RBs, i'm mostly concerned about volume over efficiency. a guy can be horribly inefficient, but a decent RB2 (see Hyde, Carlos).
#36 By: thickfreakness, October 5th, 2018 12:37
I'm trying to see if I can package him with Allen Robinson for an upgrade at WR then pickup RoJo.

Thoughts on Dion Lewis as a buy-low candidate?
The volume isn’t much for both him and Henry, and Lewis hasn’t had a big game yet. But he’s catching plenty and maybe the Titans offense get it going?
#38 By: dkpsports, October 5th, 2018 19:58
Dion Lewis actually got dropped in a league I am in.
The owner is probably very low, you may not have to pay much. Mariota couldn't throw spirals with his nerve injury but he appears to be getting better.
I would inquire.
edit (this we before week 4, his price probably went up, but owner might still think he is selling high).
#39 By: Mychal, October 5th, 2018 21:25
That’s my sense as well. I’m 1-3 in this league, so I’m trying to strike a good balance between stashing RBs for the future (have Rojo, Foreman, Penny) and ones who can put points up now. Currently starting Breida and Kerryon.
Trade a WR I never start for Dion Lewis maybe? Sanders and Lockett are my WR5 and WR6. Or go even lower, give up Njoku and just stream TE from here on out?
#40 By: hrr5010, October 5th, 2018 23:23
I'd go with Dion for sure. See what you can get back in exchange. I don't hate moving either Sanders or Lockett for Dion btw. If that's a possibility, you gotta do it.

@hrr5010 Hasan the tiers you provided are super helpful, thanks man!
Would you drop either Marlon Mack or Mark Walton to pick up Perine?
(and if so, which one?)
