Are players ranked within tiers?
Example- In review of RB tiers you have ~15 RBs in tier 4. The first RB in this tier Drake would be #23rd by rank (first 3 tiers consisted of 22 players). The last RB is Kerryon who would be RB #38.

The players aren't ranked within the tiers. I've got a lot planned this week and probably won't get it all done, but, if it works out, I'll break down some of my thoughts and priorities on the players within the tiers.

Feel free to tag me in the forums if you got questions about my tiers as well. I've got a few things going on as well, but want to ensure that you're looking at the Tiers the way i've used them in a bunch of my drafts to date. (i've been tweaking my tiers as I've done a bunch of drafts with $'s on the line. Structured H2H redraft, not MFL10)

I’d love to hear some of ur thinking within the tiers.

One area I don’t hear mentioned by RZ a lot is schedule. Is this by design?
I don’t pay too much attention to schedule but JJ Zacharison made a good point about Stafford. He’s not considered elite but he could be a value based on some early season shootouts. I see you have him in tier 3. Is he someone your not interested in or is he a fade?

I actually just refreshed my QB tiers, and Staff should be a tier higher. I don't pay much attention to the schedule, since it's very tough to predict what we expect to happen down the line. I do think he's a better option than I was giving him credit for, so i've updated my ranks to accurately reflect that.
The thing with QBs and their final scoring is - they're clumped so close together, you're better off waiting. I was in a draft where there was a wild QB run in the earlier rounds, and then people were doubling up on QB before i'd even taken my first. you can make up the disadvantage going with a lower tier QB over at the RB/WR slots

Sure! For WRs I focused on volume, historical finishes, competition etc. WR is actually quite shallow this season, so i've been trying to grab as many of the first 3 Tier guys i've got before moving on to RB.
RB itself is taking into account workload/safety of the position. there's an argument to be made that MelGo could/should be in Tier 1, given his incredible usage as a receiver and the HH injury only helps him. Ekeler is up there as well.
I'll be refreshing once more after Week 3 preseason so we know how teams view select players. I mean, look at Alex Collins' usage. He's in line for an incredible workload.

mccaffrey kerryon johnson
b: c. davis
and received an offer of thielen and landry for hopkins. i was thinking of countering with offering mccaffrey for thielen and landry instead. what do u think @hrr5010 ? stick with the 1st rounder or go with maybe the value of a 2nd and 3rd rounder...or 2 third rounders. i assume the josh gordon news is maybe why i have this offer
figured you're a good person to ask since u have thielen higher than some other experts on tier 2

In 05 PPR, you still kinda want Nuk I think. I'd assume the total expected points for Landry + Thielen outstrip those of Nuk's, but since you only start 2 WRs, I'd kinda keep it as is. I'd love to get @FF_Contrarian's thoughts here, since I'm not great at adjusting to offers like these.
My only concern around Kerryon is that he might be a year away or he won't be productive till later in the season. So I'd really not pencil him in as a starter, yet.
This was an auction right?

actually no, i had the 6th pick. took Nuk, CMac, Kelce, then cooper, tevin, KJ. ive had lots of success the last couple years w starting 4 WRs in two flex 0.5 ppr leagues for what its worth. cuz of players like melvin gordon n J. Hill two years ago, and lots of kamara and hunt pre-season last year.

Yeah. This year the RB ADP is kinda bonkers, so you wanna consider holding Caff. I know what you mean about running out 4 WRs, which is something that I do in 0.5 PPR leagues as well.
I'd honestly be OK with you aggressively moving Nuk for Landry/Thielen, but also see if you can pick up an additional rookie RB who the shine has come off by moving Lee/Stills. (Think Rashaad Penny/RoJo? IDK)

Hey guys I was hoping to get some input on three separate selections I might be up against in a Standard draft I have coming up on Wednesday. I have the 7th pick and might have a decision between Barkley and Kamara.
My next 3 picks will be WR's. Worst case in Round 4 I might be looking at ARob, Fitz, Cooks, Demaryius and Landry.
Round 5 I'll have another tough choice, this time between Jamaal Williams and Burkhead. RB's go a little faster in Standard leagues. I plan to hit RB in rounds 5-6-7.
I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I prefer Kamara in Round 1 and have a slight preference for Williams in Round 5, although Burkhead has even more upside if things fall just right.
Those looks like good WR options in R4: Landry, Fitzgerald, Demaryius, Robinson, Cooks.

@FF_Contrarian Thanks so much for your help. One last one from me before my draft tonight. In a Standard league in order of preference if Gronk or Diggs don't fall to me in the middle of round 3... Baldwin, Cooper, Hill, Hilton, Thielen and Evans
#15 By: Shawn Siegele , September 5th, 2018 14:53
That's tough as I've got those guys clustered pretty close together. Probably Thielen, Hill, Hilton, Evans, Baldwin.
I don't think you can really go wrong in Round 3 with that group, but the target competition for Evans and the injury for Baldwin push them slightly down.
#16 By: Michael, September 5th, 2018 15:52
Do you not include Cooper in that cluster or did you just forget to include him?
#17 By: hrr5010, September 5th, 2018 15:58
I'm the guy who's high on Cooper vs. the field. There are concerns surrounding the Raiders' offense, but i'd take Cooper over Evans. I'd rank them: Thielen/Hill/Hilton in their own tier, Baldwin, Cooper in their own tier, then Evans.
I might shade towards Cooper over Baldwin, since injury concerns have people spooked.
I have a standard auction draft tonight as well. good luck to you in your league!

Thanks for the quick reply. Good luck to you as well.

Hope you're dominating. I like Cooper at the end of that group.
Let us know how it turns out.
