So Conner is out this week in PIT, which back is the one to own? Jaylen Samuels or Steven Ridley?

And now that Malcolm Brown is out is Kelly a must handcuff in case Gurley is rested?

Have to think it's Jaylen Samuels. Tomlin has talked about an RBBC, but Samuels is nominally the pass catcher. The Steelers don't run much in general, but if Samuels can get like 12 carries & 3-5 targets, he could do some serious damage against Oakland.

Do you guys think Wilson on SF should be higher priority than Samuels? Seems like he would get most the work whereas Steelers could be a RBBC.
They are both available in most leagues.

I think if you have room on your bench then sure, is there a timetable on Brown's injury yet?

@jmeek2244 I agree with @aweraky and really like Samuels there. He was a prospect we really liked this offseason (at the price), and now he gets a chance to show what he can do in the hybrid role.
I'd probably have a slight preference for Samuels due to the high-powered nature of the offense, but Wilson looks to be in a solid usage situation now and should be even safer if his own health holds.
@bamcunningham I like Kelly there. @hrr5010 has been messaging me about this situation and might have some thoughts as well. If you have a roster spot situation that makes it work, he's a priority.

So picking him up is one thing...how bold do you have to be to start him this week? Because that is exactly what I am considering doing (assuming I get him off the wire).
It'll be a tossup between him, Ekeler & Ware. Can only pick 1.

Like others, I am on board with Samuels. Liked him as a prospect and looking forward to seeing what he can do.

don’t sleep on a justin Jackson too. Ekeler got pulled for him last weekend and he was pretty darn good in limited carries. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets the start this week

Interesting yahoo allows you to play him at TE. I got baldly outspent but if he gets a few games he could destroy the TE market.

Agreed Jackson is the cheapest so why not get a piece. Assuming LAC would look at the big picture and value Gordon’s importance to a Super Bowl push there’s a small chance they let him rest and/or limit his carries.

@FF_Contrarian @dcaban in the event Newton misses week 15, would you rather start Brady @PIT or Wentz @LAR
#13 By: Shawn Siegele , December 5th, 2018 19:10
I like that PHI/LAR game to have massive shootout appeal and possibly less of a weather concern.
#14 By: Jason, December 5th, 2018 19:57
I forgot he was available, would you prioritize Dak over both given how he’s played of late and the easy schedule?
#15 By: Shawn Siegele , December 5th, 2018 20:32
Probably not, although I do like him a lot better now with Cooper. He makes for a decent compromise candidate if what you really need is a good floor.
#16 By: Shawn Siegele , December 6th, 2018 14:36
How did the bidding go on these players @aweraky @fezic @FF_Fiend @jmeek2244 ?
Going back to @aweraky's question, are you starting these guys?
#17 By: Jeff, December 6th, 2018 15:19
I got Wilson jr in two leagues and Samuels in another. Most playoff teams had very littel cash left. Somehow i still had 73% of my waiver budget in one league so to be safe i bid 30 for Samuels and 25 for Wilson.
In another league that doesn't do FAAB i was lucky to get Samuels even though i had the 9th waiver priority. Again most teams in the playoffs were behind me.
In another league with a 1000 dollar FAAB i won Wilson with a 401 dollar bid and that was because the guy in first who had Gordon had 400 bucks left so i bid high enough so he couldn't get him if he tried.

Boy, that's hard. I'd probably go Wentz but it's close for me. Of course, my stance could change after running the GSLPs for those particular matchups.
#19 By: Ryan Blakeslee, December 6th, 2018 17:31
Huge variation by league.
I got Jackson in a competitive league for 1%, not sure how.
#20 By: Progression From the Mean, December 6th, 2018 17:53
I got Jackson in both of my redraft leagues and didn’t have to spend $ to get him. In fact, I was the only one to bid on him, everyone was going after Jaylen Samuels (I prioritized Samuels but didn’t get him). I also got him in one of my dynasty leagues and spent $292 of a $500 budget on him. Probably a gross overpay but at this point in the season what else am I going to spend it on?
I’m not starting him this week, but he’s my next man up at flex on 2 of those 3 teams if something happens to one of my expected starters
