Fantasy football waiver wire advice for Week 10 of the 2017 season. The waiver wire has become the most important component of a championship winning fantasy football team. The parameters and assumptions of this weekly waiver wire advice column can be found in the preseason introduction. I am filling in for Charles Kleinheksel, the RotoViz…

@Moody this is a great column as ever. I have a couple of quick WR questions for you ahead of waivers tomorrow.
I have Zay Jones and also TJ Jones who I'm going to drop. Corey Coleman is available, but so is Martavis Bryant, who has been dropped by a frustrated owner before Steelers bye week. Full PPR league with up to 5 WR starters (2 are Flex).
Who is the better add or the two- considering I already own JuJu S-S from PIT? I haven't given up on the Steelers trying to utilise Martavis just yet and he still has a better QB throwing to him than CLE...

Great write up as always @Moody .
One question for clarification. Are you ranking Burkhead above Forte, Darkwa, Rawls, Buck Allen?
Also would you include West as a good pickup since he stands to inherit a huge workload if Kareem Hunt would go down. He seems to be on the category of Conner.

Definitely pick up Corey Coleman if you can right off. Martavis vs Zay Jones as speculative stashes seems pretty even, though I'd lean Jones due to his better schedule and less competition for touches (even with Benjamin), and Tyrod is capable. Jones probably still has some positive regression coming too, something to keep in mind.

Thanks. Like your point about Bryant = Zay Jones and I had noted BUF has a good schedule ahead. Here's hoping Zay's knee is ok because he looks a great prospect in both fantasy and real life!
I'm leaning towards Coleman, too. Trying to think of the right FAAB bid to make it happen now. Think my main competition might be the guy who dropped him when he went on IR.

@Moody @CKl @FF_Contrarian Lost Watson (and effectively Siemian via benching) last week in my 2QB redraft - Ryan is my other QB ... sitting at 8-1 with wire options of Fitz Bridgewater Kizer Lynch and Beathard - no bueno. Fitz easily the best for next couple but anyone worth spending my diminished FAAB ? Roster was strong enough to get a W this week w most points scored and likely will try via trade but what do we think ? Thanks !

Any possibility of adding Fitz and making a conditional bid that allows you to get either Bridgewater (preferably) or Lynch? It's not ideal, obviously, but Fitzpatrick could be a solid option in the short term and Bridgewater is intriguing toward playoff time.

How big of a bid should i put in for Burkhead? Need a good RB2 for playoffs

Good work Eric! Appreciate the help this year!

Whom would you rather have in ppr: forte or Aaron Jones?
#11 By: Moody, November 7th, 2017 23:58
Agreed. I'd pick up Coleman so you can diversify your roster. I recommend you hold Zay Jones and drop TJ Jones.
#12 By: Moody, November 8th, 2017 00:01
I'd bid anywhere from 25 to 35 percent for Burkhead depending on the size of the league.

Missed out on Burkhead. Would you rather give up Aaron Jones or Mack for him? @Moody @FF_Contrarian

@Moody snagged Coleman for TJ. Thanks for the advice. Feeling good ahead of the wknd and playoffs (at 7-2) with a WR corp as follows:
WR K Allen, Watkins, Funchess, Marvin Jones, Marqise Lee, Juju S-S, Zay Jones, Corey Coleman
@PaulC Martavis is still on the WW. Any value in me stashing him for the future? Or am I in a good enough position already?

i'm considering dropping Aaron Jones and Will Fuller for Rex Burkhead/Dion Lewis and Corey Coleman. though i'll likely lose this week (Evans is suspended and i don't think i'll be able to keep up as the guy i'm playing is starting Julio and Michael Thomas) i'm at 7-2 and am trying to get in the best position for a playoff run.
basically, i waffle between feeling like an idiot for considering dropping them both in a keeper league and full-on devil may care win-now mode. but i doubt they'll add much value to my team ROS compared to the two Pats and Coleman. help?
WRs: Evans, Funchess, Bobby Hands, Tyreek, Stefon, Fuller
RBs: Kamara, McKinnon, Aaron Jones, Tevin Coleman
TEs: Doyle, Kroft
#16 By: Shawn Siegele , November 8th, 2017 13:50
@FantasyNerd I would prefer to give up Mack.
@joenamathscoat Could you drop Kroft even though you'll have to pick up a TE for Doyle's bye? That would allow you to roster Coleman or pick up Burkhead to at least see what he does this week (essentially buying a week to make the decision).

that's a good point, @FF_Contrarian . thanks for the suggestion

Love the article, great advice! @Moody, @FF_Contrarian--Lost my first game last week to 8-1 but looking to shore up the roster. A few intriguing guys on waiver wire (Burkhead, Woodhead, Coleman), but not sure who to drop. RBs Gordon, Kamara, Collins, Foreman, D Lewis; WRs Woods, Diggs, Evans, C Davis; TEs Gronk, ASJ, Olsen in 0.5 PPR league. Leaning towards dropping Collins but I have positive regression of TDs floating in my head.
The guy who has M Bryant, Doctson, & Golladay has no healthy TEs, thinking of floating trade of ASJ for one of these guys if he bites. Which one to shoot for, if any? Doctson, I would assume, because of role?
#19 By: William Russell, November 9th, 2017 07:10
I will defer to the experts @Moody & @FF_Contrarian, but I would definitely take Doctson over Martavis or Golladay at this point.
Purely based on the usage, plus the uncertain injury status with Golladay. Both of those two have been dropped in my 12 team PPR league, while Doctson is owned and mostly started.

How do we value Cohen in .5 PPR (start 2RB, 3WR)? He was dropped this week so I'm considering scooping him up. Problem is, I'm already 1 player over capacity as I need a TE fill in for Ertz this week. My question(s) is/are: who do I drop for a TE streamer, and should I drop a 2nd player for Cohen, and if so who? EDIT: Prosise also available on WW
QB: Tyrod, Mariota
RB: Jerick, CJA, Duke, Booker, Damien Williams, Burkhead
WR: Evans, AJG, Keenan, Diggs, C. Davis
