Figured I'd get us started for week 8, especially considering my waivers run tonight.
I was forced to drop Ronald Jones from the end of my bench this week in favor of picking up a TE to start in place of Gronk.
That TE, thankfully, was Trey Burton, who helped me eek out close victory. With Burton's big game, he's now outscoring Gronk on the season in PPR (in total points & in ppg). Is it worth holding onto Burton at this point, as a Gronk hedge?
I usually don't bother trying to stash an extra TE? I don't expect a blowup game like week 7 again, but he's scored over 9 PPR points in 5/6 weeks this year so far.
If I drop him, I could stash a guy like Ronald Jones, Courtland Sutton...DJ Moore? Jalen Richard?
Not much out there I love besides Jones & Sutton..thoughts?

If this league is anything like the ones I play in, plenty of teams would be rushing to get Burton if you drop him. You could maybe talk me in to dropping him for Rojo (but I'd still lean no), but not for the WR3/4 types you mention.
Maybe try looking at who owns the TEs with upcoming byes (Hooper, Ertz, Uzomah, Ebron, Engram among others) to see if you could sell Burton if you want to make space?

Any thoughts on Kenjon Barner as an add this week? I'm mostly standing pat for this week's waivers, but I'm enticed by the potential opportunity Sony Michel's injury can open up.
Thinking I can add Barner for cheap just as a one week look-see if they give him a chance.

@Mychal Good idea. I'm a Sony owner and also have a Dalvin Cook problem atm. I have a spare Andy Dalton on my roster who could easily be dropped to give Barner a run this wk. My speculative add of D'Onta Foreman is looking an increasingly long shot ,given Miller's resurgent wk and the lack of news about his return.

So, I missed Barner as someone grabbed him while I was at work earlier. Just saw the Powell news on the Jets, so have grabbed Trenton Cannon just in case I need a plug & play this wk if Chris Thompson can't go for WAS.

I'm in a pickle... I have Dalton, Winston and Stafford on my team. I can only play 1 QB each week and am thinking about dropping Stafford.
My opponents QB is on a bye so he picked up Alex Smith.
1 - out of the 3 listed do you think dropping Stafford is the right move?
2 - if I drop Stafford do I run a risk of my opponent picking him up and using him against me this week? I don't know if he'll have a good week or not; DET has gone run heavy lately and the SEA defense is actually pretty good.

It’s a crapshoot in any case. Cannon might well end up a better play this week.

I’d say all three of your guys are better than Alex Smith so yeah, dropping one could help your opponent.
Are you dropping for anyone in particular? Can you drop him late enough for your opponent not to have a chance to pick him up?

I need to cover TE in week 9 since Ertz is on bye....my plan was to drop him Sunday morning so he can't get picked up.

Drop Stafford just before kickoff.

Happy game day all and good luck today!
Quick question I have about adding some waiver depth this morning prior to kickoff. 1 QB std scoring
I have Jameis and Trubisky on the bench. Is there better opportunity in keeping Trubisky or dropping him for either Godwin, RoJo or Mostert. All cleared waivers and are available right now.
RB Zeke, kerryon, Mack, Dion Lewis, Ekeler
WR Diggs, Woods, Amari, Ridley, tre’quan & lost Fuller Thurs. thank you!

Drop Trubisky for Godwin. You’re fine at RB, so the added WR depth goes a long way.

Unfortunately he was picked up by my opponent. Keep Mitch over RoJO? Thanks

RoJo over Mitch. I’d rather have the RB over another backup QB
