@turndownforwatt Looking ahead to the playoffs, I would prefer Tre'Quan to Brown. (It doesn't appear either of them have value for Week 12, due to Tre'Quan's foot injury.) I would be comfortable dropping Brown, but it does look like there's a very real chance that they'll go back to Flacco at some point. (Like Ross and love Samuel for dynasty, but the current volume makes them very tricky for redraft. It is encouraging to see Samuel ticking up.)
Thanks, @will. It's been tricky to play the Panthers WRs, and I can understand why you wouldn't have wanted both guys. I'm not optimistic for Funchess. He doesn't have the playmaking after the catch, and since Newton also throws a lot of difficult balls - and Funchess doesn't have great hands - the actual value of his targets can be frustrating. Hopefully he can add a few more scores down the stretch here.

@FF_Contrarian @hrr5010 That's what I've feared for a while about Funchess- the rise of better players in an offense that likes to spread it around. I picked up Samuel, so effectively have two halves of one player, if I'm interpreting what you said on Overtime this week correctly. Slightly concerned I now have two Panthers, neither of who are reliable starters!
Speaking of unreliable options, dare I roll with Tre'Quan tonight? I'm 6-5 in a 2flex PPR league and playing two playoff-bound teams this wk and next. My opponent has RBs from heaven CMac, Melvin, Saquon and Mack, but few decent WRs. My starting WRs are JuJu, Boyd & Keenan and my flex options are Sutton, Samuel, Funchess and Sony.
Happy Thanksgiving to all Rotoviz folk in the US and thanks so much for all the advice this season- really appreciate it.

Is Malcolm Brown a better option ROS than John Brown? Brown is my 5th WR. Been holding waiting on Flacco.

I would say so. Who are your other WRs?
@Will - I'm really hoping Quan gets healthy ASAP but i think the biggest beneficiary from the MelGo injury is Keenan Allen. He's gonna have a huge fantasy outburst going forward I think.

I agree. I'm scrambling to replace MelGo in two leagues (fortunately I have Zeke, McCaffrey and Michel in one of those leagues, so I'm just losing a little upside that I might be able to replace with some Corey Davis/D.J. Moore/Allen Robinson/Sony Michel for a couple weeks). In the other league, I'm stepping way down from Gordon to Coleman. Do I add and spot start (over Coleman) Theo Riddick, Nyheim Hines, or Justin Jackson? Which would make for a better longer-term stash? I'm leaning toward trying to pick up Riddick for a possible shootout this week and Jackson for longer term stability in case he ends up being a solid fill-in for MelGo (and Ekeler doesn't take the whole pie).

My WRs are Antonio, Odell, Diggs, DJ Moore, Trequan and John Brown.
RBs are Lindsay, Chubb, Burkhead and Royce F.
Guy in my league is open to moving Melvin Gordon given his uncertainty.
Offer DJ Moore and Lindsay for Gordon or too much? DJ and Trequan?

@HowFantasy - Hopefully you have Ekeler as a backup. I'd not spot start any of those guys over Tevin, but I would add Hines over Riddick and Jackson. Riddick is worth adding in case Kerryon goes down, but his ceiling isn't as appetizing. I do like adding Justin Jackson as a flyer provided you can spare the space, but i wouldn't go crazy trying to add him.
@bamcunningham - is this redraft or dynasty? i'd actually not take the plunge in trading for MelGo right now. If the Chargers wind up clinching their playoff berth, they could opt to hold out MelGo until the playoffs. That said, DJ Moore + Quan might be the move to make, but hopefully it doesn't leave you think at the flex. What are your roster reqs?
#28 By: How, November 27th, 2018 11:52
Sadly, my attempts to acquire Ekeler in both leagues bore no fruit through the season (I got outbid in my drafts, and people kept trying to gouge me because I was the Gordon owner—I just didn't think it was worth it).
I will change my bids a bit...

It is redraft. Is it worth swinging for the fences with Gordon even though I have Lindsay/Chubb?
#30 By: hrr5010, November 27th, 2018 13:02
No. its absolutely not worth trading for MelGo. I'd rather hold with Lindsay/Chubb. The Buy Low Machine/Stat explorer should probably be of help with regards to difficulty of schedule.
@HowFantasy - i stupidly dropped Ekeler in one league, but it was for DJ Moore... so its a wash? I really think all this means is more passing... but lets see.

@hrr5010 this is what I like to hear. I was thinking of grabbing Justin Jackson to deny the Gordon owner the chance, but he's been stashed today by the Kareem Hunt owner, along with the obvious Spencer Ware.
I picked up Carlos Hyde last wk as Lenny insurance. Good move, but unsure if he's startable over Chubb, Dalvin or Sony this wk. I'm in playoffs but up against guy in 1st place and want to avoid facing him again next wk.
Is Hyde worth keeping or should I be looking for someone like Burkhead as some Michel insurance for the playoffs? I can obviously wait until Fournette's suspension appeal happens today. Adding @DumpsterDiveFF who wrote about Rex in this wk's Dumpster Dives
Interested to hear whether either of you would drop Samuel (I also have Funchess) or Hyde to pick up Rex or another RB with upside for playoffs. Sorry for multiple questions in the same thread- bit of a brain dump here...

The good news here is you can likely have your cake and eat it as well.
With NE going up against Minn, I doubt there will be much of a rush on Rex. & Fournette is (tentatively) only going to be suspended for one game. If I were in your position, I would gamble and hold onto/use Hyde this week, then jettison him for Rex next week. Also, really like C. Samuel this week.
#33 By: William Russell, November 28th, 2018 11:13
@DumpsterDiveFF the best kind of cake, that. Good idea- am not planning to start Hyde at present but would like to keep him away from other owners this week (Fournette, esp).
I'm also hopeful on Samuels. Assuming Funchess remains limited, he should see work. Though not sure I can see my way to starting him over Sammy, Sony, Hyde or Sutton in my two flex slots.
#34 By: Sdparven, November 28th, 2018 11:18
Was offered Keenan Allen for Chubb and DJ Moore in redraft.
Love Chubb but Allen might be more upside??
#35 By: William Russell, November 28th, 2018 12:24
I always ask this, but what's the rest of your roster looking like? I own both Allen and Chubb in my PPR keeper/redraft.
Even if I didn't it would be hard to get me to sell Chubb in my format, given that we can only keep players drafted after R3 and Allen would rarely go much below 2nd. Chubb is a 10th rd keeper next year!
@hrr5010 is predicting an Allen blowup while Melvin Gordon's out. He may have some views here.
#36 By: hrr5010, November 28th, 2018 21:39
Hyde’s definitely not startable over the others mentioned. I just can't feel comfortable with a guy who could cede receiving and rushing work to Yeldon. I dunno. It's just a major roadblock for me mentally.
I like trying to add Burkhead, but I don't hate sticking with Hyde. With JAX all but out of the playoffs, there's a possibility its the Hyde/Yeldon show ROS. Jags wouldn't want to risk added injury to LF in meaningless games.
@bamcunningham I wouldn't do that trade. DJ Moore is the killer since he seems to be coming on strong over the recent weeks.

@hrr5010 @Will @FF_Contrarian better playoff deep RB stash... Rex or Royce Freeman?
#38 By: William Russell, November 29th, 2018 10:11
Interesting question. Rex on a better offense, but constant injury risk and unclear usage. Freeman in weird timeshare on worse offense with clearly superior RB taking more of the touches. But far easier ROS schedule.
Leaning Freeman as he's actually playing at the moment, but can I take the 5th and defer to the experts?
#39 By: Jason, November 29th, 2018 10:41
@Will absolutely! Thanks for your thoughts, TBH both will probably never play for me on this team, but am curious on the answers. Ideally the guy I keep will block either one from burning me weeks 15/16 in another teams lineup . Both high upside, but I’m thinking Rex has higher potential, especially with a Sony OR White injury
#40 By: hrr5010, November 29th, 2018 10:43
@FantasyNerd i'd say it's Royce Freeman if only because he's healthier than Rex and should get a significant amount of work if Lindsay is out/goes down. What worries me is that Rex/White are still secondary to Sony Michel, who the team wants to use as a hammer back. I think the schedule ROS for NEP is soft enough rest of the way that they can roll Michel out as their primary RB without much worry.
Also, as @Will mentioned- easier schedule for DEN RBs. They've all but phased out Booker at this point and a Lindsay/Freeman committee is easier to navigate than the theoretical three headed monster that will be the NEP RBBC.
